At the current time, Lorraine Festa is a lecturer in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and teach online psychology classes. Holding a doctorate in psychology with an emphasis in clinical and health psychology from The Union Institute, Festa has been teaching at the college level for about 20 years. With additional graduate degrees in special education and counseling, she worked with adolescents, was a special education director, and presented workshops for various organizations in CA. Festa subsequently worked with chronic pain patients, while integrating art therapy as one of the interventions used to facilitate healing. After moving to Arizona, she worked as the program manager for the ASU Online psychology program, while previously maintaining a coaching practice.
