Research Interests
Dr. Bernat's research is interdisciplinary. It looks at the intersection of law and women, youth and society. Her work has studied both criminality and victimization and the relationships between these phenomena. Understanding culture, politics and society is essential if we are to understand the impact of law (criminal law and its processes).
