Dr. Markus is a board-certified Internist who currently runs the ASU
Health Services at the Tempe Campus. Along with receiving his
Medical Degree with honors (AOA selection) from UMDNJ-Newark and
completing his Internship and Residency at both University of
Rochester and Baystate Medical Center, Dr. Markus has also received
his MS in Management and an MBA from University of Maryland University
College. He is still an active educator at the University of
Arizona College of Medicine and has a faculty appointment at the Mayo
School of Medicine. An active member of the American College
Health Association he is co-chair of the Benchmarking Committee and
also serves on the Bylaws Committee. At ASU, he serves on the
Institutional Review Board, the University Staff Council and is
advisor to the Health and Counseling Student Action Committee which
has won the 2010 Best Student Organization and the 2009 & 2010 ASU
Community Footprint Award.
