Long Bio

Jennie Kronenfeld is an Emeritus Professor with the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University.

Professor Kronenfeld has a number of longstanding research interests, including issues of access to health care services, health care policy issues, child health, aging and health and preventive health concerns including health behaviors and HIV/AIDs. Some of her current research projects involve CHIP, Medicaid and access to health care concerns; studies of HIV/AIDs with mobile populations and with minority populations, research on minorities and health care services, and research on health behaviors such as adolescent body image, unhealthy substance use, and physical activity as a positive health habit.

Research Interests

Professor Kronenfeld has a number of longstanding research interests, including issues of access to health care services, health care policy issues, child health, aging and health and preventive health concerns including health behaviors and HIV/AIDs. Some of her current research projects involve SCHIP, Medicare, aging and the end of life, Medicaid and access to health care concerns; research on minorities and health care services, CAM, health and gender and research on health behaviors such as obesity, physical activity as a positive health habit and overall preventive health behaviors.
