Associate Dean for the Ross-Blakley Law Library
Victoria Trotta teaches Advanced Legal Research and researches, writes and lectures abroad on matters of law librarianship, legal bibliography and law library management.
Associate Dean Trotta joined the College of Law in 1996 and was appointed to oversee the library and the College’s Information Technology department in 2000. She co-authored and produced the State Bar of Arizona CLE program on conducting legal research over the Internet. Previously, Associate Dean Trotta was the law librarian for the Arizona law firm of Lewis and Roca LLP. Before moving to Arizona, she held professional positions in every aspect of law library administration at the University of Southern California Law Library.
Associate Dean Trotta is active in several law library professional organizations, and is a past president of the American Association of Law Libraries. She also is a member of the Depository Library Council, which advises the Public Printer on policy matters relating to the Federal Depository Library Program. The Ross-Blakley Law Library has been a selective federal depository library since 1977.
