Mark Roosa is an Emeritus Professor from the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University. Roosa's research interests include etiological processes that place children at risk or protect children from risk and the additive and interactive roles of culture and context in influencing child outcomes. Teaching activities emphasize an ecological approach to understanding child development; risk and resilience; culture of individuals, families, and contexts; child development and mental health; prevention program development and evaluation; research methods.
