Erica May is the manager of marketing and communications at ASU’s School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies. Her duties include managing the SHPRS website and social media profiles, creating engaging content to share, designing and sending monthly and quarterly enewsletters and designing both print and online content. She views her title as the “SHPRS Storyteller” and enjoys interacting with faculty, students and alumni to tell their stories. She also supervises the Communications Program Coordinator and assists with event logistics and event marketing.
Erica’s public relations background is in a variety of industries including hospitality, non-profit, real estate and construction.
She received both her bachelor's in public relations and master's in digital audience strategy from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Maroon and gold run deep in her veins as she has attended ASU football games since she was a toddler, met her husband on the Tempe campus and is the daughter and sister of ASU graduates.
