Monica Hopkins serves as the Assistant Director of Doctoral Services in the Office of Academic and Career Success at Mary Lou Fulton College. She is an innovative, forward thinking, student-centered individual responsible for leading a doctoral services team that provides exemplary service to students in regard to activities supporting doctoral programs, including admission, academic advising, program support and coordination. In consultation and close collaboration with the Associate Deans and doctoral program leadership, Monica designs and implements practices and processes to support students and programs, as well as participates in strategic planning.
Prior to this role, Monica held positions in the School of International Letters and Cultures and the School of Human Evolution and Social Change. Having joined ASU in 2014, her background spans a breadth of areas within a university setting including student advising, graduate admissions, student affairs, program coordination, course and classroom scheduling, curriculum development and academic planning, study abroad, business operations, and event planning.
