Kayla Elizondo-Núñez is a doctoral student in the Writing, Rhetorics, and Literacies program at ASU. She investigates the role of emotion within writing pedagogy, examining how affective dynamics impact both student learning and instructional practices. A poet and creative writer, Kayla enjoys advocating the use of the Oxford comma, painting, and experimenting with different modes of artistic expression.
