Shimara Mizell is the Director of People Operations with Enterprise Technology at Arizona State University. She received a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Troy University in 2005 and a Master’s in Human Resources Management from DeVry University in 2007. She possesses the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certifications. In addition to her accreditations, Mizell has over 16 years of HR experience, including 15 at ASU. Her strength lies in employee relations but she is well versed in most HR disciplines. Outside of work, she enjoys being a soccer mom, watching Sun Devils and Cardinals football games, Netflix marathons, and when time permits, reading.
