Sanket Vinod Thakur is a Senior Staff Engineer in the Product and Test Engineering Department at Qualcomm Technologies, based in San Diego, California, USA. He received his M.S. degree from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, in 2011, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. His research interests focus on reducing cost of test (COT) through adaptive testing methodologies, intelligent test‑hardware design, and the integration of design‑for‑testability (DFT) techniques. He has contributed to the testing and qualification of multiple flagship Qualcomm products, including microprocessors, modems, and RF transceivers. His experience spans digital, mixed‑signal, and RF intellectual property (IP), enabling cross‑domain expertise in advanced semiconductor test engineering solutions.
