April Oberst

April Oberst is a New York City-based designer, innovation strategist, and educator. Her background spans both agency and in-house creative for startup and global consumer brands. 

She helps brands stand out in-store and online through original packaging, campaigns, and digital content to create unique consumer connections within a wide range of industries. April has partnered with many truly amazing brands: Google, Coach, PXG, Marc Jacobs, Covergirl, Kylie Cosmetics, Beyonce, Philosophy, Adidas, and many more.

April is a first-gen college graduate and holds a Global Executive Masters in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, The New School in Paris and a degree in Graphic Design (BS) and Design Management (BA) from The Design School at Arizona State University. With Parsons School of Design, April has consulted for The United Nations and The World Expo 2020 Dubai Transition Unit to design creative solutions around sustainability and the future of smart cities. 

She teaches and facilitates workshops around design thinking, storytelling, typography, and  design principles and strategies.
