I have over 15 years of experience in secondary and post-secondary education. I currently serve as the Director of Projects, leading the design and change management efforts of student success initiatives for University College at Arizona State University. I am committed to decreasing the equity gap in higher education and increasing the success of students through the development of innovative student services utilizing emerging technology and analytics.
As a former University Innovation Alliance Fellow, I have applied design thinking skills to improve higher education programs to meet the needs of 21st-century students. As a former academic advisor, my commitment to excellence in student services was recognized through awards for academic advising at Arizona State University and NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising.
I earned my Bachelor’s in History Education from Southern Illinois University and my Master’s from Arizona State University in Post-Secondary and Higher Education. I also currently serve in the Arizona Air National Guard.
