ASU: Executive support for Alan Arkatov
As an accomplished professional with a diverse background in executive support and organizational development, Jamie Szynal has honed her skills in optimizing a multitude of administrative processes. Her adventures in administration have equipped her with a wealth of experience in project and event management, simplifying processes and mechanisms, and developing efficient collaboration techniques amongst various stakeholders. Her meticulous attention to detail and strong dedication to excellence help her leaders and teams to success while her own leadership style is focused on leading with integrity, empathy, and humor.
Prior to her administrative career, her journey began in musical theatre and vocal performance at Illinois State University where she graduated magna cum laude (and an Honors Scholar) with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music. She continued her performing arts education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she earned a Master of Arts with Distinction. This led to a multifaceted career as a teacher, performer, and on-air broadcast talent within various US and UK markets.
Throughout her career, Jamie has worked with prestigious institutions supporting various executives, C-Suites, and their teams including those for companies like Red Bull Media House, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, and Amazon. She is currently supporting the Learning Transformation Studios at Arizona State University in Los Angeles as their Executive Administrative Manager.
Outside of the professional sphere, Jamie mentors performing arts students that are just beginning their career paths and is also interested in helping nurture future leaders. In her free time you can find her hiking, singing, exploring perfumery, reading, and sipping on her favorite coffee from Nespresso.
