Chase Norris is an Associate Director of Development at the ASU Foundation, where he builds partnerships to support Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts mission and generate resources to help advance Arizona State University charter. He also serves as a Venture Mentor at ASU’s Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute, guiding student startups in ideation, product development, and market strategies.
Previously, Chase served as a Project Manager for Academic Partnerships at EdPlus where he led initiatives to enhance online education in scale through strategic partnerships with other universities. He also served as Senior Program Manager of Venture Development at Edson Institute, where he developed and managed programs that supported student, staff, faculty, and community entrepreneurs. The programmatic support included mentorship, access to a coworking space network, and funding competitions.
Chase’s career also includes experience in operations and educational events management, having served as Director of Operations and Educational Events at the Arizona Science Center. In this role, he successfully led teams, managed budgets, and executed educational and community events.
Chase holds a Master of Arts in Creative Enterprise and Cultural Leadership from Herberger Institute for Design and Arts and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Business Tourism from the W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU.
Born and raised in Arizona, Chase enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his dog, Toby. He values time spent with friends and family and is a fan of the competition show Survivor.
