I am a graphic designer, educator, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in graphic design, web development, and visual communication. As the Owner and Operator of JMG Creative Solutions, I work closely with small businesses to create tailored graphic and web design solutions, develop strong branding strategies, and deliver professional photography services. My goal is to help clients build a memorable and impactful visual presence that sets them apart in their industries.
I earned my Master’s degree in Technology, which has provided me with a strong foundation in digital tools and innovative design practices. I also have the privilege of teaching in Arizona State University’s (ASU) Graphic Information Technology (GIT) program as a Faculty Associate. In this role, I teach courses in Digital Publishing, Digital Illustration, and Commercial Print, guiding students in mastering industry-standard tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop while preparing them for careers in the ever-evolving design field.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of organizations, including real estate firms, media companies, and historical institutions. During my time at Community Impact Newspaper, I contributed to the successful launch of two new publications, which increased circulation by 36,000 households. One of my proudest achievements was designing a traveling museum exhibition and a custom vanity license plate to support the fundraising efforts of the Arizona Historical Society.
I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, including awards from the Printing Industry of Arizona/New Mexico, and I was honored to represent Adobe as a student ambassador during my time at ASU. Whether I’m working with clients or mentoring students, I’m driven by a passion for visual storytelling and the endless possibilities that technology and design offer.
When I’m not creating or teaching, I’m always exploring new ways to combine technology and design to craft meaningful connections between people and the stories they want to tell.
