Morgan Bircher is the social media manager within Arizona State University’s Media Relations and Strategic Communications team. In this role, she leads social media strategy for ASU News and President Michael Crow’s channels and co-leads strategy for ASU in California. She also supports ASU’s flagship social media channels, with a focus on research and innovation, major university announcements and institutional storytelling.
Previously, Morgan served as a digital strategist and communications specialist at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Arizona PBS. During her time there, she also served as program manager for the Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative, a grant-funded program focused on advancing ethical standards and leadership in public media journalism.
Before joining ASU, Morgan worked as a digital reporter at ABC15, a web producer at iHeartMedia and a digital content producer at a marketing agency. She has also contributed to a variety of publications as a freelance writer.
