I am excited to be a school teacher, the profession I started to first pursue 4 decades ago. It is fun to start this new career at the school from where my father retired after 46 years of teaching and coaching in Arizona.
I also continue to monitor the state of Arizona's child welfare system while I continue to serve children currently in the system (as a mentor).
Prior to working with youth in the system, I worked in IT, finance, management, architecture and residential construction. My work with youth includes serving as a volunteer and professional as a mentor, DCS Specialist/Case Manager (Investigations and Permanency), foster parent, and parent-model group home manager.
I am most proud of my work as a husband, father, grandfather and active member of my community. I firmly believe that our society and community will achieve its highest potential of peace and productivity if we each focus on our family and serving our community.
