Azadeh Alavi is an instructor in the French Program at the School of International Letters and Cultures at Arizona State University. She has always had a great passion for learning and teaching the French language and culture. This passion has driven her throughout her years in school to study this subject immensely with the goal of being able to share her knowledge and the beauty of the language with as many students as possible. Being able to teach this subject is very rewarding for her as it would open up a window to a new world for the students.
Her master’s thesis at Arizona State University was based on Romanticism. She worked on "Stylistic Diversity in the Theatrical Works of Alfred de Musset: ‘Les Caprices de Marianne’ and ‘On ne badine pas avec l'amour’."
She started her career at ASU in 2009 and currently teaches various courses, such as Fre 101, Fre 102, Fre 201, Fre 202, and Fre 311 at ASU.
