Long Bio
Sandra Palaich is a Senior Lecturer in the Italian program at the School of International Letters and Cultures, Arizona State University. She teaches all levels of language and culture courses in the Italian program, and a 400-level film course on the representations of Italian organized crime in Italian and U.S. cinema. Alternating with a colleague, she directs the full-immersion summer study abroad program in San Severino, Italy. Prior to arriving at ASU in 2009, she taught at the University of Michigan for 12 years, where she coordinated the elementary Italian program and taught first-, second- and third-year courses in Italian language, culture and business.
