Cynthia Schulze is Business Operations Manager for the ASU Interplanetary Initative, focused on building the future of humans in space and thus, to create a bolder and better society. Interplanetary is working to advance exploratory learning by pursuing the questions of our space future across the whole landscape of human inquiry and creating teams that integrate across the public-private-university sectors like II’s Pilot Projects while eliminating the boundaries between education institutions and the community by making education broadly accessible to many audiences.
Prior to her current role, Cynthia worked for the Origins Project as ASU for nine years as a Business Operations Manager resonsible for overseeing operations, event planning and managment, human resources, staff supervision, strategic financial planning, contracting and purchasing, and developmnet cultivation and stewardship.
Cynthia joined ASU with more than 20 years of professional sales and marketing operations experience providing advanced technical solutions for complex business needs. She actively developed relationships, planned and presented integrated enterprise solutions to universities, healthcare, government and Fortune 1000 companies and managed contract negotiations end-to-end. She has a track record of adaptability and is comfortable with new and established technology, embraces change and enjoys continually learning.
Her bachelor’s degree in communications is from Arizona State University.
