Haley currently serves as the Chief of Staff of the ASU International Development Initiative (IDI) where she is at the forefront of directing all IDI operations and activities, advancing ASU's mission of global engagement. Her career has been dedicated to scaling the impact of university collaboration in the international development space. Haley’s career at ASU has been focused on shaping ASU's long-term international development vision, mission, and operating principles. Throughout her career at ASU, she has managed a robust pipeline of over $1 billion in opportunities with U.S. Agency for International Development and the State Department across diverse portfolios, including Sustainability, Education, Global Health, Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance.
Haley also previously served ASU as a Program Coordinator for the $20 million USAID Pakistan Centers for Advanced Studies in Energy, where she played an instrumental role in coordinating program activities that led to the advancement of energy solutions in Pakistan with two local partner universities.
In a previous chapter of her career, she served as the Program Director of the Shah Family Global Innovation Lab at Purdue University where she directed the lab's strategic vision to amplify the impact of Purdue's faculty and student innovations. Collaborating closely with domestic and international partners to address critical socio-economic challenges in international development. The focus areas encompassed engineering innovations and market-driven approaches in vital sectors such as energy access, healthcare, water and sanitation, and disaster/humanitarian response, with a focus on technology for development.
