Kelsey Wharton joined the faculty of the College of Integrative Arts and Sciences in 2025. She loves to teach and is excited to further her career in multimedia communications while sharing her years of experience with students.
After graduate school, Kelsey worked for several years in environmental consulting. Her love of science and communication next took her to ASU where she worked for many years as a science writer with the Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development marketing team. There she wrote long form articles and contributed to other media about ASU research and its impact.
Additionally, Kelsey has over a decade of experience across podcasting, online writing, content development, and online teaching. She is excited to bring that knowledge to her teaching and her students.
