Andrew is a Senior Director on the Foundation Relations team at the ASU Foundation. In this role, he connects ASU people and ideas with philanthropies for partnership and scaled impact. Andrew previously worked at the intersection of educational and economic opportunity, leading an initiative to increase the net income of 10,000 local middle-class households by 10% and developing an asynchronous COVID-19 Nursing course to upskill 4,500+ non-ICU nurses to care for ventilated patients. He has also taught courses in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions and University College.
Before joining ASU, Andrew consulted with more than 100 public schools, supporting the implementation of evidence-based approaches to improve schools’ performance on academic, operational, and financial frameworks. He previously taught middle school science through Teach For America. Andrew earned his doctorate from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University.
