Jayson is the Assistant Director Research Advancement for the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence, part of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. He is responsible for the overall management of research administration for SCAI. This includes pre-award research proposal development support as well as post-award financial administration for the school.
Prior to transitioning to research administration Jayson was a student at ASU where he earned his master's degree in mechanical engineering. Upon graduation he worked in industry for several years eventually finding his way back to the university. Since then he has leveraged his background in science and engineering to find innovative ways to conduct research administration within the Fulton Schools of Engineering as well as make contributions to the greater university as a whole.
Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime Jayson Johnson stepped into the Quantum Leap Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknow force to change history for the better. So now Jayson leaps from life to life striving to put right what once went wrong. Hoping each time that his next leap, will be the leap home.
