Michael Currey joined the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies (SHPRS) advising staff in Fall 2010. He holds Master's degrees in Philosophy and History from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and has extensive experience in a variety of positions in higher education, including academic advisor, program coordinator, and curriculum analyst. Michael coordinates first-year advising, including new student orientation, for SHPRS. He is a member of the Council of Academic Advisors (CAA), the professional advising organization at ASU, and NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising. Michael thoroughly enjoys working with students, helping them to succeed in college and in life.
