Sean Edmonds is the Economic Development Manager at Arizona State University. In this role, Sean specializes in attracting businesses to Arizona, managing economic development pipelines, and fostering collaborations between ASU, domestic and international companies, and industry partners. He works collaboratively with regional partners to promote the ASU Innovation Zones and attract companies to the Greater Phoenix region.
With a rich career spanning roles in the nonprofit and real estate sectors, Sean has consistently demonstrated excellence in team leadership, community empowerment, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to ASU, Sean held roles with local non-profit organizations, including leading branch operations as a Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley and managing corporate engagement partnerships at Valley of the Sun United Way.
Sean combines academic insight with hands-on experience to implement innovative strategies that drive growth and efficiency. His passion for community empowerment and business development has consistently delivered impactful results in fast-paced environments.
As a native Phoenician, Sean has a strong passion for promoting and strengthening his community. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.
