Jay is a Research Program Manager who has been with ASU since the beginning of 2024. During his time at ASU, Jay has worked with ASU's SWAP Hub (Southwest Advanced prototyping Hub). The SWAP Hub, led by ASU, is one of eight regional innovation hubs established under the Department of Defense’s Microelectronics Commons, a national strategic initiative to accelerate the development and production of microelectronics technologies that are critical to U.S. security and defense. SWAP Hub comprises the MacroTechnology Works facility, multiple ASU auxiliary facilities and labs, a network of 130+ regional partners, and is supported by an initial DoD investment of $39.8 million as well as additional funding through the state and key industry partners. In his current role, Jay is helping to manage and coordinate all operational activities of SWAP Hub projects. Prior to working at ASU, Jay has held both technical and management roles working for multiple semiconductor capital equipment suppliers including Lam research, Tokyo Electron Limited, and ASML.
