Long Bio
Acacia Barnett is the Program Manager of Student Outreach and Engagement for J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute (Edson E+I). She is active in supporting and co-creating entrepreneurship opportunities within academic colleges, Educational Outreach and Student Services (EOSS), and other ASU units as well as across the Maricopa County Community College District.
Sierra Vista native and proud ASU graduate with a 10-year track record as a business leader and nonprofit executive. Founder of Acacia B. Brows & Beauty, Barnett Salon Suites, Hattie B. Black Women In Progress, and Executive Director of Girls Confidence Camp.
Acacia believes entrepreneurship is advocating for expansion, both in terms of businesses and in people to support the growth of community development, both in major metropolitan areas and in rural and underserved communities.
