Kendall Jones is the Events Manager with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. In this role, she oversees the production and execution of distinctive events put on year round for the ASU community and the general public.
Prior to her position with Cronkite, Kendall was the Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Global Sport Institute overseeing facilitation and development of programs and supporting the goals of the institute and partners across ASU and externally. She also served six years as the Community Outreach Manager at Local First Arizona, an organization building a strong local economy and celebrating vibrant, inclusive communities across the state. As the Community Outreach Manager, she oversaw all volunteers, developed content for educational events, and managed membership programs.
Kendall received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Arizona State University in 2013 before joining the AmeriCorps program, Public Allies of Arizona. During her 2013-14 service term, she was placed with Local First Arizona as their Events and Volunteer Coordinator. She is also an alum of Leading For Change (class of 2017-2018), a civic leadership program in Arizona. Kendall is also a certified facilitator of the ASU Spark Methodâ„¢.
