I completed my undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine. After several years of working in adult behavioral health outpatient and hospital settings, I returned to Arizona State University's Tucson Component to obtain my Master's in Social Work. I completed my internships on an adult behavioral health unit, at a juvenile court, and in a hospital setting. Since obtaining my MSW, I have enjoyed working with adults, children, and families in a public school, a children's hospital, and in hospice. When I am not working or teaching, I love traveling, exercising, reading, and spending time with my family.
