Kristina Sharp Hernandez (LMSW)
Received her Master’s Degree from Arizona State University, at which time she served as the secretary for the Social Work Student Organization and volunteered with several organizations including Catholic Charities, Children’s Crisis Center and the City of Phoenix.
Kristina has done extensive research in suicide prevention and effective reintegration programs for individuals on intensive probation.
While working direct practice she specializes in trauma, depression, drug and alcohol abuse as well as stress management. Kristina is trained in several modalities including Equine therapy, ACT, CBT, CPT and is a certified clinical trauma professional. Kristina has worked in several areas of social work including clinical work with adults and adolescents, crisis intervention and forensic social work. She is passionate about social work and is excited to work with students and assist them in learning more about the profession.
