A Nogales, Arizona, native, Aaron brings many years of experience in government, public affairs, finance, and more. He is currently the Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Commerce Authority. In this role, he leads public policy development for Arizona's only state-wide economic development agency. Previously, he served as Associate State Director - Advocacy and Community Outreach for AARP. He spent many years serving in various government capacities, including on the City of Los Angeles' Intergovernmental Affairs team. In addition to his government service, Aaron has extensive experience in electoral politics. He has worked on two presidential campaigns, a gubernatorial race, and a US Senate race, most recently as Mark Kelly’s Deputy National Finance Director. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of public policy and affairs, administration, and electoral politics, at every level.
