Sarah Moser is the Portfolio Manager of Research at the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at ASU. She manages a variety of research projects; most notably a Mellon Foundation grant supporting the RaceB4Race initiative (led by Ayanna Thompson) that centers the expertise, perspectives, and sociopolitical interests of BIPOC scholars, whose work seeks to expand critical race theory. Most recently, the team has launched Throughlines (www.throughlines.org) which offers a variety of freely accessible teaching materials to help scholars incorporate premodern critical race studies into their teaching.
