Zhihua Wang completed his bachelor's and master's degrees and later worked as a researcher in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to joining ASU, he worked with Professors Elie Bou-Zeid and Jim Smith at Princeton University. Wang is an active member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), American Physical Society (APS), American Geophysical Union (AGU) and International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC).
Wang is an associate professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University. His research interests include multiscale urban climate modeling, land-atmospheric interactions, landscape and infrastructure management, urban environmental sustainability study and energy efficiency analysis.
