Alexis Luna

Alexis Luna began her journey at ASU in 2012 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition (Dietetics) in 2017. During her undergraduate career, she enjoyed volunteering as a nutrition educator, student leader and research lab technician. 

After graduation, Alexis worked in public health, nutrition telehealth and k-12 education. Her favorite job after graduation was teaching English in Yokohama city, Japan. After years of traveling and working with the public, she decided to return to her alma mater. 

Currently, she is an Academic Success Advisor for the undergraduate Information Technology (IFT) program within The Polytechnic School.  Alexis is happy to help students (both in-person and online) with their educational needs and goals through excellent customer service and care. She is also a graduate student studying Nutritional Science (Dietetics) to prepare her for teaching in higher ed to inspire future healthcare workers. 

Outside of her career, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She likes to play classical piano music, cook, learn about health, travel and hike when the weather is nice.
