Rachel Garcia is a current Department HR Specialist Sr. for the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA). Prior to working at CISA, she held a role as a Department HR Specialist Sr at Educational Outreach and Student Services, as well as worked as a Department HR Specialist for College of Health Solutions.
She initiated her Human Resources career in the Academic Programs Coordinator position, and found her passion for fostering inclusive workplace cultures and developing talent. She found her purpose to be in this field after interacting with the candidates and aiding in their needs from beginning to the end of their career with the company, providing a positive and encouraging environment for them to thrive in.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys mentoring youth, cooking and baking, all things outdoor and true crime.
