Mark Hamilton serves as the Interim Director of Materials Management for the Office of Business and Finance. In this role, Mark leads the team that provides support services for the University such as Distribution and Logistics, Central Receiving, Surplus property, and Mail Services. Mark has been with Arizona State University since 2022.
Mark brings over 20 years of logistics experience, with a strong track record of delivering measurable results and optimizing supply chain operations. His expertise and innovative strategies make him an excellent fit for the university's goals and objectives. Before joining ASU in May 2022, Mark spent 8 years with FedEx Ground where he multiple large facilities in the Phoenix area as a Sort Operations Manager. Mark's commitment to safety, customer service, employee engagement, and operational efficiency aligns with the vision of Arizona State University.
With his background in Lean 6 Sigma processes, supply chain management, and quality control, Mark is well-equipped to lead the Materials Management team. His extensive experience in overseeing large-scale operations, implementing productivity enhancements, and managing diverse teams will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of the university.
