Dania Alcala-Calvillo serves as a Program Manager/Community Manager for the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute’s 850PBC. In her role, Dania works with ASU students, faculty, staff, and the local community providing entrepreneurs a connected and collaborative work and event space in the heart of downtown Phoenix.
Prior to joining the Edson E+I Institute, Dania served as a Program Specialist at ASU’s Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center and the Global Center for Applied Health Research. She has also worked in various roles within the nonprofit sector in the Phoenix area. Dania earned her B.S. in Sociology and B.A. in Global Health from Arizona State University and has earned her Master's in Public Administration from Northern Arizona University.
