Silke Krueger is the Senior Business Operations Manager in the Department of Psychology, in the ASU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is responsible for managing the workload for seven full-time staff members and is charged with the development, forecasting, and monitoring of the department's multi-million dollar budget. This includes attending to day-to-day operations but also forecasting for potential growth. Her team is tasked with managing faculty recruitment and appointments, faculty promotion and tenure processes as well as staff and student hires. Krueger is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) and has managed the business operations of several departments at Arizona State University (ASU) and University of Arizona (UofA). She has also managed projects with the Army Research Office, FBI, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, DARPA, Boeing, Science Foundation Arizona, and several NIH grants
Krueger studied finance and accounting at Arizona State University and at the Berlin School of Economics and Law in Germany and graduated with a degree in business administration. She is a member of the National Council of University Research Administration and completed several leadership certificates at the UofA, ASU, S.G. Warburg & Co and Bankgesellschaft Berlin. Prior to her stints with ASU and UofA, Krueger worked in European investment banking in London and Berlin.
