Amanda O’Halloran serves as the Police Information Officer with the Arizona State University Police Department and Media Relations and Strategic Communication division for ASU.
Previously, she worked with the Arizona Secretary of State’s office for the 2024 Presidential Election year and the Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions / Arizona Automobile Theft Authority for eight years. It was with the Automobile Theft Authority she served as the Public Outreach Committee Chair for the Auto Theft Prevention Authorities for the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators. Amanda has been a featured presenter at various community public safety events throughout Arizona since 2017, as well as a presenter at the Chicago IAATI conference in 2022, the Arizona Crime Prevention Conference in 2021 and 2018, and the Arizona Regional Conference for the National Corvette in Restorers Society 2018.
In addition to working in the communications sector, she worked as a traffic operator with the Arizona Department of Transportation in the Traffic Operations Center and as a dispatcher and customer service representative with the Enforcement and Compliance Division. She also enjoyed a career in the financial and beverage distribution industries.
Amanda is an alum of ASU, earning a Bachelor of Science in Digital Audience from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism with a minor in Human Communication. Amanda has published both articles and photographs in small international publications. She is an accomplished multimedia artist as well as a communicator.
