Lindsay O’Neill is a doctor of education candidate in Leadership and Innovation at Arizona State University, where her research focuses on developing generative AI literacy among doctoral students. As a professional instructional designer, graduate instructor, and former academic librarian, she brings a unique perspective to examining how EdD students may ethically and critically engage with AI tools in their academic work. Drawing from frameworks of Generative AI Literacy and Metaliteracy, her dissertation research addresses doctoral student use of generative AI tools while working to establish evidence-based approaches for developing generative AI literacy among advanced degree seekers.
