Yolanda Rodriguez

Yolanda Rodriguez has been teaching with Arizona State Unviersity since 2006. As an instructor she brings real world experience to the classroom to bring the topics she teaches to life. She obtained her bachelor's degree at Arizona State University in 2000. She completed her associate's degree in Applied Science in Interpreter Training Program at Phoenix College in 1994. Her doctorate is in naturopathic medicine which she uses in her private practice in the Valley of the Sun. Currently, she is working with the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at ASU's Polytechnic campus.

Rodriguez's past professional experience includes acting as the interim chair of Mind and Body Medicine at the local naturopathic medical school, clinical director for the naturopathic medical school in Puerto Rico, and director of alternative medicine for Pascua Yaqui Health Department. Her current endeavors include her family practice in the Maricopa and Ak-Chin areas. She also is the president of Many Healing Hands, a collaborative project serving Veteran's, Women and Tribal communities with naturopathic medical services, community education in the areas of domestic violence, PTSD/trauma management/release and healthy living.
