Gordon Murphy joined the University Audit and Advisory Services Department in September 2012. He has over thirty-two years of experience in public and private industry accounting, auditing, consulting, teaching, and real estate development and construction.
Gordon graduated from Arizona State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Degree, and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He was elected a member of Beta Gamma Sigma by the Arizona State University Chapter and received the A.S.U. Professional Accounting Council Merit Scholar award. He received his Master of Arts in Education Degree from Ottawa University in May 2000.
Gordon served as Vice President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Arizona Chapter.
