Christina is a Phoenix native and serves as a Project Manager with Arizona State University’s Learning Engineering Institute (LEI), where she leads cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and iterative improvement of instructional technologies. In this role, she supports research-informed initiatives and contributes to the advancement of scalable, data-informed learning solutions.
Prior to joining LEI, Christina served as a Proposal Manager with ASU’s Global Security Initiative (GSI), where she supported the institute’s mission to catalyze the Department of Defense by identifying strategic funding opportunities and managing complex grant proposals. Her work focused on areas including cybersecurity, human and artificial intelligence, narrative and disinformation, and strategic influence. Before returning to ASU, Christina managed mega proposals for the Arizona Commerce Authority, supporting statewide economic development initiatives across aerospace and defense, technology and innovation, and advanced manufacturing, including semiconductors.
Earlier in her career, Christina worked in public relations and the nonprofit sector, leading communications efforts for privately held Fortune 500 companies and receiving multiple awards for outstanding service. She has also spearheaded philanthropic development initiatives for prominent Valley human-service nonprofits, particularly during periods of economic and organizational transition.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication, with an emphasis in organizational communication, from Arizona State University and has a ASU FSE Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. She brings extensive experience in project management, relationship management, and capacity building. Christina is actively engaged in professional service, including involvement with the Project Management Institute (PMI)—where she volunteers on the Sponsorship Committee (2024–2025), the ASU Project Management Network, the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), and ASU’s SUNlight Coaching Program. She also volunteers with Pitchfork Pantries and serves on the Valley Cultural Board, where she chairs the Scholarship Committee.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Christina enjoys cooking, travel, and spending time with her husband, Stephen.
