Beatriz Fuentes-Anderson

Beatriz Fuentes-Anderson is a Senior Program Manager in ASU's Learning Enterprise with more than 15 years of experience leading global education initiatives, strategic program management, and learning design and delivery at scale. She is passionate about creating high-quality, accessible learning experiences that empower learners and help them achieve their educational and professional goals.

In her current role, Beatriz oversees the Humanities portfolio of Universal Learner Courses, supporting an online learning ecosystem that serves more than 52,000 learners annually. She collaborates with cross-functional teams to lead course design and delivery, strengthen operational processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure engaging, high-quality learning experiences that are accessible to learners around the world.

Throughout her career, Beatriz has partnered with higher education leaders from Brazil, South Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, Mexico, England, France, Myanmar, Argentina, and beyond to design and deliver professional learning experiences that advance innovation in higher education. She has led faculty development initiatives for more than 2,000 educators, contributed to Coursera MOOCs reaching over 90,000 learners worldwide, and played a key role in shaping the branding, communications, and program experience for ASU's University Design Institute.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Beatriz enjoys bringing people together to solve complex challenges, improve processes, and build meaningful partnerships. She is especially passionate about helping learners succeed, fostering inclusive learning environments, and creating opportunities that expand access to education. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, she is always seeking new ways to better support the growth and success of others.
