Celia Coochwytewa

Celia has a vast background in instructional design, consulting, and developing innovative, technology-enhanced educational products and experiences. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and began the first half of her career as a K-12 classroom teacher before transitioning to higher education and instructional design. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Director for Academic Operations at Arizona State University’s Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. In this role, she supports nursing and health-related programs, coordinating and addressing faculty consulting needs in instructional technology and course design through collaboration with program and team stakeholders.  Within her time at ASU, she has also held roles that serve the institution in learning space design and faculty support.

Celia actively contributes to multiple university-wide workgroups, offering guidance on instructional design and educational technology. She also shares her expertise as both a participant and facilitator on the podcast Instruction by Design, produced by Edson College.
