Laura serves as the Executive Director for Starbucks Initiatives in the Office of University Affairs. In this role, she leads partnership efforts between ASU and Starbucks with programs such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, Starbucks Global Academy, the Starbucks Technology Center (located in the Sky Song Innovation Zone), ASU-Starbucks Center for the Future of People and the Planet, and the newly announced Sustainability Learning and Innovation Lab (located in Costa Rica at Hacienda Alsacia, the company’s global agronomy headquarters for research and development). Prior to this role, Laura spent a decade at EdPlus at ASU leading workforce education partnerships such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan and the Uber Pro Education Program.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from University of Nebraska Omaha and a master’s degree in digital audience strategy from Arizona State University. In her spare time, Laura enjoys golfing, hiking, pilates, reading, and traveling.
