Johanna Urrutia serves a business development manager for Corporate Engagement and Strategic Partnerships within ASU’s Knowledge Enterprise. The Corporate Engagement and Strategic Partnerships team leads the effort to create and sustain efficient and mutually beneficial collaborations between corporations and the nation’s most innovative school, Arizona State University.
She has over a decade of experience in cultivating and stewarding strategic and philanthropic relationships in higher education, healthcare, and the nonprofit sector. She has worked for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, College Success Arizona, and previously worked for ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business.
Prior to joining ASU, Johanna served as a Program Officer for the German Marshall Fund of the United States, in Washington, D.C., a policy organization dedicated to advancing transatlantic relationships. She managed the organization’s foreign policy and civil society portfolio, coordinating programming on regional and security issues worldwide.
Johanna holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, and a master’s degree in International Security Studies.
