Lindsay brings a life-long passion for animals to her position as Vivarium Supervisor. She has extensive animal care experience in a variety of fields. Prior to her supervisory role at ASU, she enjoyed professions such as zookeeper, veterinary assistant, pet sitter, and lab animal technician. She furthered her education in the lab animal field by earning the AALAS Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) certification.
She currently manages staff and the daily husbandry operations, within several vivaria, in order to ensure ethical animal care and deliver excellent customer service and technical support to the research investigators. This plays a critical role in the beneficial research being performed by those who must utilize animals to advance education and knowledge.
Lindsay's strengths include a commitment to animal welfare, attention to detail, dependability, a quick wit, and a drive for improvement. Her professional interests consist of fostering communication, promoting staff development, and refining practices to provide exemplary animal care.
